How Temperature Cables Work?

Leave a message

‌Temperature cables, especially temperature sensing cables, monitor temperature primarily through changes in the resistance of thermistor materials. ‌
Temperature sensing cables, also known as linear temperature sensing fire detectors, monitor temperature based on changes in the characteristics of thermistor materials. When the ambient temperature rises, the resistance of the insulation layer of thermistor material inside the temperature sensing cable changes. When this resistance change reaches the preset alarm threshold, the detector will send out a fire alarm signal. This change is based on the principle of resistance change. When the ambient temperature rises, the resistance value will also change accordingly, thereby triggering an alarm.
